• The prizes have been awarded for the Commercial Motor/Leyland Daf Series 95 Relay competition, which took place at the time of the Scottish Motor Show.

First prize — a superb Philips digital CD/tape player — went to Joe Wilson, who is a senior sales executive at Jennings Coachwork, Crewe. Joe was awarded his prize last week.

The competition asked readers to calculate the amount of fuel which would be used by the four Series 95 vehicles in their trips to Glasgow in the relay. The correct answer was 307.6 gallons or 1396.5 litres — and Joe calculated an answer within 4 litres of that.
