Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

III I was surprised to read the following in the motoring column of The Barnsley Independent newspaper: "Then we have the nuisance of heavy goods vehicles. But there is little we can do about them. Their lobby in Parliament will safeguard their business interests and big profits."

At least the correspondent got the heavy goods vehicle name right, I've heard it called worse. It would not be so bad if I could even detect a hint of sarcasm.

Do sonic people still think their goods just appear on supermarket shelves, or furniture sprouts in warehouses? More to the point, are "new cars" manufactured at the back of the showroom?

I think that what it do is put his state of mind down to the cold weather and assume that his brain is waxing up.
