• Tankclean, the Tankfreightrun network of road tanker cleaning stations, is piloting a mobile chassis and livery cleaning service for commercial vehicles.
Two Mercedes 207Ds, fitted with high-pressure spraycleaning equipment, are operating from Tankclean's South ampton and Purfleet depots, and the company plans to extend the scheme to its other six sites. Tankclean, a member of the National Freight Consortium, says it has secured no long-term contracts since the operation started last month, but is busy with several ad-hoc agreements.
