• Pallet hire specialist Chep Europe has moved into Spain and opened 10 depots. It is expected to earn 240 million Pesetas (£1.2 million) within the first six months of business.
The company's launch into the Spanish pallet hire business leaves only Italy and the Scandinavian countries missing from its European network.
The Spanish depots are in Madrid, Barcelona, Bilbao, Valencia, Alicante, Palma, Valladolid, Courdoue, Saragosse and La Corogne.
