DRIED-FRUIT packer Whitworths, has bought two ERF M16 16-tonners for its trunking and distribution work.
The vehicles are fitted with 7.72m (25ft 4in) and will cover up to 120,000 miles each per year. One of them is fitted with a Boalloy Tautliner curtainsided body for multi-drop delivery work.
The M16 is powered by the Perkins T6.3544 engine driving through a Spicer T6-400 gearbox, and operate from Whitworth's Wellingborough base.
