FREIGHT FORWARDER Unispeed International has introduced round-the-clock working at its Dover base, and is looking for a new warehouse after increased demand over the past six months.
One of the reasons for the increase is the new contract to supply urgent parts to Caterpillar Tractor's UK dealers.
Two trailer loads leave Caterpillar's Belgian parts distribution plant from Monday to Friday, and one on Saturday. They arrive in Dover during the night for inland clearance, after Unispeed has arranged entry documentation and given it to the drivers.
