Welcoming people to the Daf stand. It will be the start of a new era, with the world launch of a significant part of our Euro-6 product range.
How important is the CV Show to the industry?
Very, because it is the focal point for people and products in the UK freight transport industry to come together. What has been the biggest advance in road transport in the past five years?
The continued evolution of trucks, which have improved fuel economy while reducing noxious exhaust emissions. What is the biggest issue facing transport in the next five years?
Meeting rising costs, which are inevitable as a result of having to comply with EC legislation such as whole vehicle type approval, Euro-6 emissions, Driver CPC, general safety regulations and rising fuel costs.
What is the best part of your job?
The people and personalities.
