Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

a revised edition of VAT Leaflet 700/13/87: VAT Publications. It lists all VAT notices and leaflets available from January 1987. Copies of the leaflet are available from local VAT offices.

AWLREM ADVICE

• The Association of Webbing Load Restraint Equipment Manufacturers (AWLREM), has published a leaflet to bring its products, and the association, to the notice of haulage operators.

The leaflet covers the operational justification for using webbing-based load restraint equipment, and argues that buyers should purchase only from AWLREM members in order to guarantee product quality, which adheres to BS5759.

Further details on AWLREM, and a list of members, can be obtained by calling the association's secretary on (0538) 386826.

DANGEROUS GOODS • The transport of dangerous goods by road is covered in the latest SP Tyres Dunlop Usercare No 18 leaflet — one of a series about tyres and related subjects, for commercial operators.

Usercare 18 is divided into eight areas. Starting with a general guide to transport legislation and relevant definitions, the leaflet describes the use of Transport Emergency Cards (TREMCARDS), gives definitions of the various Hazchem Labels, guidance on the classification, packaging and labelling of dangerous goods; the conveyance of dangerous goods by road in packages, operators' duties for safe operation and the safety code.

It does not cover the legislation relating to the carriage of petroleum, explosives and radioactive materials, which are subject to their own regulations.

Dunlop Usercare leaflets are available, free of charge, for the first 25 copies, thereafter 10p per copy, from Mike Astin, SP Tyres sales and marketing manager at Fort Dunlop (021-384 4444).
