• Harrogate-based Dunlopillo has invested £750,000 in a brand new delivery fleet.

The fleet comprises five Daf 2100 turbocharged chassis cabs with sleeper pods, three draw-bar trailers and a combination of eleven 8.2m and fourteen 7.3m demountable boxes. The trailers and boxes were manufactured by Bunzl Transportation Group members York Trailers and York Transport Engineers respectively.

Dunlopillo, one of Europe's leading bed, pillow and duvet manufacturers, will use the new vehicles on a nightly trunker service to depots in Wellingborough and Bideford.
