Mrs Audrey Wise (Labour, Coventry South West) wondered in the Commons last week whether the Prime Minister was satisfied with the co-ordination between the Secretaries of State for Industry and the Environment in the area of transport policies so far as the availability of vehicles was concerned.
Mr Wilson told her he was. The supply of buses was primarily a matter for individual bus operators and manufacturers, he told her, but both Departments jointly kept the situation under review.
