Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

NEWCAST LL UPON TYNL hauliers are sceptical about the need for a new website designed to act as a "one-stop shop" for information and advice for freight operators.

Launched by the Tyne and Wear Freight Partnership, in collaboration with consultancy Faber Maunsell, the free website www.tyneandwearfreight.info contains information on freight routes, traffic information, truck park i ng,contacts for local authority traffic officers and information on best practice.

It also includes enhanced tailored maps for key freight destinations in the area, which identify preferred routes from the strategic road network.

Mark Wilson, team leader of the Local Transport Plan (LIT) team at the partnership. says: -This website is a major step forward in providing information and advice to freight operators in the North-East. as well as communicating the work of the partnership. Up-todate information is vital for a modernday freight operation and this website is sure to make the run up to Christmas as smooth as possible."

However, Newcastle upon Tyne haulier W Hedley & Sons, believes most transport firms in the North-East already have all the information they need about parking and freight routes and that some hauliers will not access websites for information.

Transport manager Craig Eley says: "We already know where we can safely park as we've bet in business for 54 years. Mo hauliers would prefer to find oi by personal recommendation the go on to a website."
