• Sales of trucks and artics for the year will break the magic 50,000 barrier this week—for the first time since 1989.
The end-of-year total is expected to be near 51,000 which is broadly in line with industry predictions: !yea) Ford had estimated a figure of 52,000 while Leyland Daf predicted a final total of 55,000.
