year Competition. It was promoted by the British Car Wash Association to discover the best car wash in England. The first prize of a trophy and 600 went to the Pippin Filling Station at Coventry.
The last time 1 had my car washed and waxed at the cost of an arm and a leg, the flails dripped all over it as I drove out of the machine, leaving white spots that could be removed only by washing it by hand. It was not my idea of a pippin.
