LONDON Regional Transport's Government subsidy has been cut by £51 million next year, leaving ratepayers to find .1:193.6 million, compared with £212 million this year.
'Transport Secretary Nicholas Ridley announced that the total LRT grant next year would be reduced by $28 million to 1:295 million, despite an increase in the capital grant from the Government of S:23 million to £216 million.
