Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Three men have been jailed for a total of ten years for disposing of a £20,000 truckload of alcopops following the Necking of an Eddie Stobart truck last year (CM 26 SeptiOct).

Leicester Crown Court heard how the 54year-old sleeping Stobart driver was taken, along with his vehicle, from a lay-by on the 4444 in Leicestershire. He was dumped by the roadside in Staffordshire while the Belgianregistered truck was later found in Kendall—minus its load.

None of the men were involved in the kidnap of the driver, which left him too traumatised to return to work, but at played different roles in concealing the goods and disposing of the vehicle.

Only Geoffrey Royal knew that the attack had taken place; he admitted assisting unknown offenders who had committed robbery, kidnap and false imprisonment, to dispose of a truck and its contents. He was jailed for seven years for driving the stolen truck and then setting it alight.

David Hilton and Mark Norris, both from Bolton, were each sentenced to 18 months' imprisonment after they admitted unloading the trailer of its consignment.

In addition Stephen Catterall, from Newchurch, was given a five-month curfew order after he pleaded guilty to arson and David Young, also from Bolton, was given an 80-hour community service order and a three-month curfew for helping to remove the consignment from the truck.
