Midlands-based Mercedes-Benz dealer Gerard Mann has been acquired by Midlands Truck and Van
Words: Kevin Swallow MIDLANDS TRUCK and Van, a division of Ballyvesey Holdings, has acquired Mercedes-Benz dealer Gerard Mann.
The deal sees Midlands Truck and Van take on three sites at Birmingham, Wolverhampton and Coventry.
“Our focus is on operational excellence in retailing, aftermarket support and delivering an outstanding customer experience,” says Nigel Birkmyre, director of Ballyvesey Holdings.
“We want to improve and invest in each of our dealership premises, further staff training and new technology to ensure our three depots offer exceptional customer service and facilities.” The three sites sell Vito, Sprinter and Vario vans, and Econic, Atego, Axor, Actros trucks, and Fuso Canters, and provide servicing, aftermarket and parts.
“Our aim is to offer past, present and future customers an enhanced truck and van back-up for Mercedes products in our area of inluence,” he adds. ■
