Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

FELIXSTOWE-BASED MARITIME Transport is looking for the green light to base 30 vehicles and the same number of trailers at the Tilbury Railport in Ferry Road, Tilbury. The container specialist became the new operator of the riverside rail terminal at the Essex port last August.

Maritime has taken over the existing rail contracts at the four-acre rail port and says it wants to develop further rail connections throughout the UK.

According to John Williams, Maritime Transport MD, more hauliers are looking to develop rail services as part of an “environmentally responsible approach”.

He adds: “Rail plays a key part in the development of our overall service provision and Tilbury Railport is an exciting move for us, boosting the company’s intermodal capability and environmental credentials, as well as providing new employment at the port.”
