KETTERING-based haulier Knights of Old has bought 48 new trailers from SDC Trailers.
Forty of them are straight frames with an internal height of 3.1m, and Knights of Old has also added six aerodynamic double-decks and two urban trailers with tail lifts to its leet as part of the deal.
Peter Hancox, Knights of Old compliance director, says: “With safety at the forefront of our operation, this signiicant investment in quality equipment demonstrates our ongoing commitment to high-quality service for existing and new clients, while doing all we can to keep our employees as safe as possible.” Earlier this year, Knights of Old opened a depot in Hitchin, Hertfordshire, to increase its distribution coverage in the south of England.
