A WEST MIDLANDS haulier which went into liquidation over six months ago is being relaunched under new management.
Lloyds Transport & Warehousing was granted a licence for 10 vehicles and 10 trailers by Traffic Commissioner David Dixon; he revoked the old licence attached to LloydsTransport Services. (LTS) Lloyds' management has given an undertaking that it will notify the Traffic Area Office if its traffic coordinator, Mark Robinson, or financial administrator, Pauline George, stop working for the company full time.
George says the Tipton-based business was forced into liquidation by the collapse of one of its largest customers: "We've had to use various subcontractors to keep going and just about scraped by. Hopefully now we can get somewhere."
Lloyds employs 14 people and is part of the Pallet-Thack overnight pallet distribution network.
George says Melanie Lloyd, director of LTS, is not connected with the business.
