Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Monster trucks, wheelie trucks, jet-powered trucks, best-kept working trucks, vintage trucks, recovery trucks, street vans — they're all lining up to take part in Commercial Motor's Truckfest 88, on Sunday and Monday 1-2 May at the East of England Showground in Peterborough.

It's going to be one of the busiest and biggest Truckfests ever. World record breaker Steve Murty will be bringing his Skytrain wheelie truck and his jet blast truck to Truckfest in an attempt to set the world's longest truck wheelie and the world's strongest jet blast truck runs. He would not claim to be the fastest truck driver at Truckfest, however, because Slim Borgudd's Mobilsponsored Volvo White Road Boss, fresh from its British truck Grand Prix victory, will be on the Commercial Motor stand. "The Boss" is one of the international truck racing scene's most consistently successful rigs, driven by a 12litre Detroit Diesel vee-eight engine producing more than 600kW (800hp) of power.

Don't miss White Thunder either, which is Britairi's newest monster truck run by George Hooker from Kent. On show in both the main ring and on Commercial Motor's stand, White Thunder is based on a now almost-unrecognisable Toyota Hi-Lux pick-up chassis and body which has been stretched in all directions. The cab is almost lm wider than on the standard production HiLux, and the engine is out of an AEC Regent double-decker bus model.

Other attractions will include page three siren, super Sue Simmonds, who will be helicop tered in both days to sign autographs on the Commercial Motor stand, along with disc jockey "Diddy" David Hamilton, who will be at Truckfest both days presenting his show on the local Hereward Radio station.

Sunday night is party night and Commercial Motor has invited Joe Brown and the Bruvvers along as well as DJ Mike Reid: sponsors Iveco Ford promise a good night out. Eddie "The Eagle" Edwards will also be dropping in both days and who knows what death-defying feats he will attempt.

The heart of Truckfest, of course, remains the trucks, drivers and the competitions. This year's line-up will be: 0 The Shell Supertruck Challenge Trophy O Commercial Motor Best Kept Working Truck • Eminox Custom Truck of the Year 12 Bandag Tyres Best Kept Fleet 12 Live Promotions Best vintage Vehicle ▪ Roadphone Communication Best Cab Interior
