Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

LEYLAND BUS remains the principal supplier to the Scottish Bus Group, taking 54 per cent of its 1984/85 order for new vehicles. Volvo, Dennis and Metro-Cammell Weymann have near equal shares of the remaining orders, all but three of which will have British coachwork.

As last year, SBG has placed most emphasis on luxury coaches and stage service double-deckers, taking over 70 of each, and only 25 single-deck stage buses.

In provisional details of the £11.5m order released last week, Leyland is to supply 49 11m Tigers, 23 with Alexander TS bus bodies, 10 with TC coach bodies, seven with TE dual purpose bodies, and nine with Plaxton Paramount 3200 bodies.

A further 15 12m Duple-bodied Tigers will be supplied for Citylink coach services, nine with Laser bodies, six with Caribbean bodies. All will have 46 seats and a toilet.

A further two 33-seat Duple Dominant bus-bodied Cub midibuses are being supplied by Leyland to Central Scottish, while 27 Olympian double-deckers, all with Alexander R-type bodies will go to the Northern, Eastern and Highland companies.

Volvo is supplying 28 vehicles, 15 Ailsa double deckers with Alexander bodies, and 13 12m B1OM coaches for Western Scottish. Ten of the B10Ms will have Plaxton Paramount 3500 bodies, two Berkhof Emperor 60-seal semi-double-deck bodies, anc one a Berkhof Esprit 53-seal body.

Hestair Dennis is supplying 2-, vehicles, all of them to the relati vely independently manage( Western fleet. Twelve will b( Alexander-bodied Dominato double-decks, the other 15 wil be 12m Paramount 3500-bodiee Dorchesters.

MCW's share amounts to 2, vehicles, 19 of them Alexander bodied Metrobuses for Midlanc and five Metro Hi-liner 46-see motorway coaches for th Northern fleet.
