AN INTERNATIONAL sert nar to discuss the future goods transport in Europe is be held in Paris in June.
The seminar begins on Jut 27 with an opening addre. from EEC transport commi sioner Richard Burke and ti first working session undi EEC transport chief Robe LeGoy. Sponsorship for the threi day seminar is being providE by the EEC commission, tF European Conference Transport Ministers and tl economic and social commi tee of the European Con munity.
Problems The aims of the meeting wi be to promote the develoj ment of goods transport, bot inside and outside the EE( and to analyse trends i European policies in the lie of the latest development.
Among the subjects to b discussed are internationE permits and the problems c international transport.
The programme was an nounced last week at a pres conference in Paris, where i was confirmed that the semi nar will be opened on th. second day by European Con ference of Transport Minister president Jos Chabert.
