NEW 6x4 rigid from DAF rill be making its first ppearance at the Harrogate 'ipper Convention on April 27 3 30.
Known as the FAT 2305 q-IRE, the new model is powred by an uprated version of DAF 2100 tractive unit en me rated at 155kW (209bhp) t 2,400 rpm with a maximum 3rque of 690Nm (512Ibft) at ,600rpm.
Available in two wheelbases f 4.55 and 5.0m (14ft llin and 6ft 5in) the DAF uses the 255T rear axles with a lockble inter-axle diff.
As a guide to the kerb• veight, the shorter version veighs 7.16 tonnes complete vith tools and around five ;allons of fuel in the tank.
The uprated engine — deignated the DHRE 825 — can fleet with C and U requirenents for hydraulically-driven !oncrete mixers through the nstallation of a front-end pto init.
