Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

A RECORD pre-tax profit of £2.7 million was earned last year by York Trailer Holdings Ltd.

Sales rose from 1976's £21.2 million to £36.2 million, while net profit rose from £0.6 million to £1.3\million.

The group is especially satisfied with the performance of new subsidiaries Scammell Trailers and Anthony Carrimore.

Reorganisation of Scammell is now almost complete and the range is being broadened to regain its high market share.

Carrimore sales and profits more than doubled, and the company moved for the first time on a large scale into the European and home markets.

Overall group exports increased from £9.4 million to E14.1 million, most of these in component form to other trailer manufacturers. Components come from York Technical Services Ltd, based at Market Harborough.

York chairman F. W. Davies reports that sales figures for the first quarter of 1978 point towards an even better year.
