• Securicor has signed an agreement with Hong Kong security operation, Jardine Pacific, to merge their principal Asian operations to form what the partners claim is the largest security business in South East Asia, with a turnover of 235.2m per year.
The cash services business in Hong Kong will be called Securicor Hong Kong. The joint venture will function in three territories — Hong Kong, Macau and Malaysia — with Securicor contributing its wholly-owned operations in Hong Kong and Macau and its 49% ownership of security activities in Malaysia.
