• Crane Fruehauf has supplied 26 specialist skeletal trailers to TIP Trailer Rental that are said to offer up to 1.5 tonnes extra payload when used with lightweight Foden tractors. They will be used on TIP's Railfreight contract.
Eight are 6.1m tri-axle step frames for carrying ISO tanks of up to 28 tonnes while nine tandem versions have sliding bogies of 7.53 to 8.29m length for handling 6.1m ISO containers.
The remainder are tandemaxled fixed and sliding-bogie tipping semi's.
