o Retford-based Kingfisher Manufacturing has produced a new insulated moveable bulkhead with an automatic securing system. It can be fitted in 31/2 hours for £1,750 (ex-VAT) or supplied as a kit for £1,500. Based on a former Carrymaster design, it features a patented positive locking arrangement that can also be fitted to other makes of bulkheads.
O Beacon Tippers has appointed AL Musselwhite of Romsey, Hampshire as its southern UK sales and fitting agent for 3.5 to 7.5tonne tippers. Like BT's Scottish agent Swift Auto's of Glasgow, it will also market bodies for 24-tonne rigids.
O Uniroyal has added an ultra low profile 205/70R 15 tyre for low loaders and jumbo step-frame trailers to its R300 range. Rated at six-tonnes per axle, the new tyre has a 680mm diameter and runs on standard 381mm (15in) rims, El Jost is showing its latest aluminium landing gear at the Motor Show. A set weighs 61kg, a 30% weight saving over traditional steel models.
