two Mersey Tunnels have been increased from RI to £1.20 for lorries, and from 40p to 50p for private cars. Merseyside Chamber of Commerce and Industry has complained to Transport Secretary John Moore.
Accident campaign • A £2 million road safety campaign, planned jointly by the Department of Transport and motor insurer General Accident, was expected to be announced on September 17.
The package is launched with the dual aim of improving the skills of road users and contributing to the reduction of road accidents.
