RESIDENTS in blocks of flats adjoining one of the Copenhagen Transport bus garages are bringing a test case against HT, the Greater Copenhagen public transport authority. They are claiming noise intrusion by vehicles leaving and entering the depot at "unsocial" hours.

This development and a forthcoming series of noise tests which HT intends to carry out at various key points on city routes is lending added interest to the introduction in the Copenhagen road services fleet of the first batch of 40 Scania BR112 buses.
