COURSES of the kind introduced by army officer selection boards are being applied to industry by the Leadership Trust. A. E. Edmunds Walker is among companies that have put managers through battle training at Symonds Vat West, Herefordshire.

Transport Training, published by the Road Transport Industry Training Board, says: "Each project is carefully chosen so that it relates to the type of everyday situations which course members are likely to find at their workplace . . .
