Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

LEYLAND'S Lion B21 singledecker could soon be offered to British operators who want an alternative to the integral National 2.

The Lion is a National-derived underframe which is supplied to markets demanding a body-on rear-engined citybus, and Ulsterbus proposes to standardise on Gardner-engined examples from 1983.

It is probably its interest in the vehicle, and the forthcoming appearance of the similar Dennis Falcon, which has opened up the possibility of home market sales.

A Leyland spokesman told CM that the company would be unlikely to refuse to sell Lions to any interested parties.
