THE SHROPSHIRE-based Whittle Group is taking advantage of the Transport Act.
From October 6, it is launching a daily service from North-west Midland towns to London.
New Leyland Leopards have been bought for the motorway service which will set down in Central London, before terminating at Euston Road.
From the West Country, Trathens Coaches are widening the catchment area for their extended tours and planning a daily Plymouth to London service into the West London Gloucester Road coach station.
Trathens have already established new travel shops in Plymouth, Exeter and Bristol to help market the new services, and sell holiday tours.
Exeter operator Glennline is launching a new Exeter-London service using well-equipped coaches fitted with refreshment and toilet facilities in conjunction with the Trathens service. Both start on November 1.
