J AND B Scotch Whisky has taken delivery of seven single compartment 20,000-litre (4,399 gal) stainless-steel tankers, worth a total of E200,000, from Crane Fruehauf.
All of the tanks are made from top-quality "316" stainless steel to Approved Tank Wagon standards (the specification laid down for spirits under bond).
The specification includes Crane Fruehauf F2M single-leaf suspension, Propar axles and a Dunlop Maxaret anti-skid device fitted to the brake system.
J and B will use the semitrailers to carry whisky from its distilleries to its blending plant and subsequently to its bottling plant.
