BRITISH Road Services have won a distribution contract from Uniroyal worth Elm a year. The two-year contract — for delivery of Uniroyal's carpet underlay, Tredaire — will be operated out of nine BRS outlets by Midlands BRS.
The underlay is made at Tredaire's main factory in Dumfries, Scotland, and then trunked out to BRS branches at Avonmouth, Coatbridge, Castle Bromwich, Exeter, North London Freight Centre, and Nottingham.
The contract involves nationwide delivery of around 20,000 rolls of Tredaire underlay each week and, as part of the agreement, a fleet of 15 vehicles has been painted in a new Tredaire/BRS distribution joint livery.
