Anthony Carrimore (Sales) Ltd, North Road, Harelaw, Stanley, Co Durham, DH9 8HJ Two semi-trailer models are on the Carrimore stand, the Mk 10 vehicle transporter and a bulk tipping trailer.

The transporter is designed for UK operation and has an 0.5 m (1.6ft) pull-out extension at the rear of the top deck to cover the possibility of an increase in overall articulated vehicle length to 15.5 m. It can carry nine cars, or a mixture of vans and coach chassis.

Both decks have a peripheral mainframe construction; the top deck hinges about the front struts and is hydraulically powered into the running position. Topdeck length is 15m (49ft 2.5 in) and lower-deck length is 8.8m (29ft) plus 3.7m (12ft) over the fifth-wheel. The trailer is mounted on Rubery Owen axles and multi-leaf springs with Carrimore hanger brackets and balance beams; the bogie is plated to 13.7 tonnes (13.5 tons). The kingpin is plated to 8.1 tonnes (8 tons) and gross trailer weight is 20.3 tonnes (20 tons). Twin 7.50 x 15 16-ply tyres are fitted at each wheel.

The tipping trailer features a fabricated ladder construction main-frame with 406mm (16in) by 140mm (5 in) 1beams and a 32 cum (42 cu yd) all-alloy tipping body which is totally enclosed and watertight. The body has two 3.1 m by 0.8m (10.5ft by 2.5ft) aluminium sliding hatches for hopper loading. The hatches are mounted on nylon rollers and are opened/shut manually from a catwalk which runs along the body top.

To keep the centre of gravity as low as possible body height slopes downward from the front from 1.8m (6ft) to 1.4m (4.6ft). The floor section is 6 mm (0,25 in) thick and the front, side and tailgate panels 3 mm (0.125 in) thick. Body length is 8.8m (29ft) and internal width 2.3m (7.5ft). The tipping gear is the Anthony Carrimore model 530FT single-front ram having five extensions.

Designed for operation at 32.5 tonnes (32 tons) gross combination weight, the trailer is plated to 28.1 tonnes (27.75 tons) gross trailer weight 18.8tonneS (18.5 tons) through the bogie and 9.4 tonnes (9.25 tons) through the pin.
