A NEW range of nylon-construction tyres is exhibited on Stand 200. First is the Fleetcarrier. a multi-purpose commercial giant claimed to offer long life and cool running, derived in part from a new tread compound. Another version of the Fleetcarrier has the company's steel-mesh barrier embedded in the tread rubber and is not only said to give exceptional performance in difficult conditions but can be repeatedly remoulded. Heat build-up is even less with this version.
The Fleetmaster Super Lug is an on/off-theroad tyre with a cross-rib traction pattern. flat "high-life" tread and good skid resistance: this model. too, is available with the steelmesh shield. in which form it is sold as the Super Fleetmaster Rib.
