Kelly-Springfield Tyre Co. Ltd., 29145 High Street, Edgware, Middlesex.

MAKING big strides in the replacement-tyre market. Kelly-Springfield is showing a new on/off-the-road tyre at Earls Court for the first time in the UK. This is the German-designed S. and G. model, a cool-running nylon-construction tyre with a thick shoulder profile and three riding ribs to combine quiet running with good slip resistance and even wear. The tread is very deep and the carcase is designed for several retreading lives. Sizes: 9.00-20. 14-ply: 10.00-20, 14 and 16-ply.

Also shown on this stand are the Registered Transport Special for highway trucks: the Kerbster for local delivery vans: and the KR -100 radial introduced at Earls Court two years ago.
