BIG news from Dunlop is its surprise introduction this week of the company's first lowprofile single tyre for commercials—the Highway 70 Wide-single. Having the familiar Highway 70 tread pattern, it provides a light, cool-running alternative to twins. This new model is offered as a tubeless cover of crossply construction, and fuller details are given elsewhere in this issue.

The company's stand this year is centred on an animated display emphasizing the special features of all the Highway 70 models; surrounding this are representative selections from the company's van and truck ranges and on/off road casings. A particular advantage claimed for the Highway 70 is a two-level tread construction to promote cool running at high speeds. and long tread-life.
