Avon Rubber Co. Ltd., Melksham, Wilts THE Radial and the Traction Radial are key exhibits on the Avon stand this year. The former is a steel-cord tyre while the Traction Radial is built with a stiffer, thicker breaker band and is designed especially to resist accidental damage.

These form part of a comprehensive display of equipment for commercials, and alongside the radials will be seen the Routemaster crossply range designed to give truck users improved wet-road grip together with extended mileage.
