Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Charles H. Roe Ltd., Crossgates Carriage Works, Leeds 16

TWO dual-entrance o-m-o double-deckers of contrasting styles are shown on the Roe stand. Both are on Daimler Fleetline chassis, the first bus, for Birmingham City Transport, being to the old Park Royal Group design with unbalanced windows—too shallow on the top deck and too deep on the lower. However, a curved frontal style is employed with flat vee glasses. The 30ft Sin, body seats 72 passengers and has a forward ascending semi-spiral staircase opposite the exit, incorporating a passenger counter.

The other double-decker is a 33ft 78seater on an 18ft 6in. wheelbase chassis and has the wide bay windows favoured by its operator, Leeds City. Transport, who by tradition always has a bus at the Show. In fact there are two similar buses at Earls Court this year, the other Leeds bus being on the Daimler stand. A notable feature of the design is a forwards ascending Roe safety staircase opposite the exit. An interesting item of equipment is a radiotelephone.
