TWO coaches are shown on the Duple stand—an example of the long-established Vista 29-seater on a Bedford VAS chassis and an example of the restyled Viceroy body on a Bedford VAM chassis. The former coach is 24ft 9in, overall length by 8ft width, but is available in 7ft 6in. wide form. ft is of composite construction with pillars, waist and cant rails of selected hardwood with metal reinforcement. Top sliding windows are provided in the basic specification.

The restyled Viceroy is a metal-framed coach with an overall length of 32ft 6.375in. and seats 45 passengers. Interior and exterior styling are similar to the new Viceroy 37 on the Duple (Northern) stand, and forced ventilation and two recirculatory heaters are provided. Seats in both of the above coaches are of the Duple GA 223 design. Fluorescent lighting— diffused for night travel—is fitted to the roof centre of the Viceroy.
