Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Wafter Alexander and Co. (Coachbuilders) Ltd., PO Box No. 24, Glasgow Road, Falkirk

FOR the second Show in succession, Alexander is displaying a coach specially designed for the Edinburgh/Glasgow to Lon-don overnight motorway services operated by the Scottish Bus Group. The 12metre (39ft 3.5in.) coach is an entirely new conception, however, and is designated M-type; it is mounted on a Bristol REMH rear-underfloor-engined chassis. First consideration has been given to the comfort of the passengers and the best conditions for the driver.

The structure and panelling is wholly of aluminium alloy and the body sides and roof have a sandwich of insulating material against noise and temperature variation. To improve heat insulation and in view of the night service for which the vehicle is intended the main side windows adjacent to the passengers are double glazed and the glass area is limited. Seating is provided for 42 passengers in reclining seats and each passenger is provided with ventilation and reading light. A toilet is provided at the rear of the coach. Heating is provided by two underfloor , units supplemented by an oil-fired unit. Separate heating and ventilation of the driver's cab is under his control and instruments and switches have been grouped so as to be within easy reach.
