A. C. Penman Ltd.. 46 Buccleuch Street. Dumfries, Scotland.
A WELL-KNOWN exhibitor at the Scottish Show and pioneers in the development of demountable bodies, Penman is exhibiting at Earls Court for the first time.
The exhibit is a demountable container mounted on a BMC I300F.1 skeletal chassis and represents the 15th repeat order for this type of vehicle by Frank Porter Ltd. of Derby. Manually operated jacking legs are employed to raise the body for demounting. It is claimed that a turnround time of 4min can typically be achieved.
