THE Four Locomotors bodies displayed are of light-alloy construction and comprise a fold-fiat dual-purpose tipping body on a Seddon 16-ton-gross chassis, a generalpurpose box body on a Ford D Series chassis/cab, a bread-and-confectionery box van on a BMC 550FG chassis/cab and a second tipping body, also mounted on a Seddon 16-ton g.v.w. chassis.

Having a length of 16ft 6in. and payload capacity of 10 tons, the fold-flat tipping body is elevated by an Edbro 4LN tipping gear, while features of the general-purpose box body include a one-piece glass-fibre roof and rear-mounted aluminium shutters. The Confectionery van is lined internally with grey Tonecote sheet and the roof is again of one-piece glass-fibre construction. The second tipping body has a length of 18ft and a capacity of 960 cu.ft. It is fitted with a detachable swinging partition, Tamplin pneumatic-discharge equipment and a Godfrey X420 blower. The tipping gear is an Edbro 4LH front-end twin-ram unit.
