THIS company, better known in the past for its activities in the agricultural trailer field, is showing two examples of its products. The first is a 32-ton g.v.w. tandem-Wed semi-trailer and the second a special vehicle with a hydraulically powered lifting body designed to handle heavy stillages. The haulage trailer employs a 19in.-deep fabricated main frame, 22,500 lb axles and 15.5 x 8in. S cam brakes. Twospeed landing gear is fitted and the trailer is mounted on 9.00-20in, tyres.

The stillage trailer on show will handle 10-ton stillages which are part of the Weeks Translift stillage system. The trailer is equipped with lifts which are hydraulically powered and operated from the cab. It can be either a drawbar unit or a semi-trailer with fifth-wheel coupling. In both cases it is of 10 tons capacity but where the drawbar unit is only 12ft-long, the semi-trailer is lift 4th. long. Both units are suitable for use on the highway.
