Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Scottorn Ltd., Victor Works, 173 Kingston Road, New Malden, Surrey SCOTTORN is showing a new version of its Bushmaster powered-axle draw-bar trailer on its stand. This model has been designed to operate with the 109in. wheelbase Land-Rover, which is converted in the following manner: An extra transfer case is fitted behind the main gearbox and a power take-off from this drives a propeller shaft passing through a hole in the rear crossmember. This shaft connects to a short unit on the trailer which has a sliding spline, and a universal joint at each end. The shaft layout permits the trailer to articulate vertically or horizontally through an arc of 60deg.

The single-axle trailer is equipped with leaf springs and Aeon rubber helpers. Telescopic dampers are fitted and a dualbrake system operated by trailer overrun or by a vacuum servo is standard equipment.
