Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

TheBritish Standards Institution has revised parts covering "Fire of BS 4 two par76 c tests on

building materials and structures". Part 5 relates to "Ignitability test for materials" and Part 6 "Fire propagation test for materials". The purpose of part 5 is to identify materials which would be easily ignitable from a small source, while part 6 compares the contribution of combustible linings to the growth of fire. A new BSI test is designed to measure the ease of ignition of materials and the rate at which they release heat, which have an important influence on the contribution of linings to the spread of fire.
