4-wheeled haulage model
Powered by the reliable Leyland 400 diesel, the 16 ton Clydesdale CD21.CXLW has a built-in toughness that is just about unbeatable among the medium heavy-duty truck ranges. With a spiral bevel, hub reduction rear axle, five speed constant mesh gearbox, semi-elliptic leaf springs and a sturdy, bolted chassis frame, the Clydesdale is built to stand the hardest treatment. The dependable braking system uses air pressure cam brakes with a hand control valve for secondary system and multi-pull handbrake for parking.
