CARRYING THE CARD WITH BP OIL • BP Oil is introducing an electronic payment system into its fuelling sites which, the company claims, will speed up payment, allow the driver to avoid carrying cash, and record fuel and lubricant costs and even vehicle mileage.
The agency cards are free and issued either to a named driver or to a specific vehicle. Fuel prices are charged by the average UK BP fuel price. Details of the account can be sent to customers twice a week. Settlement is required by the end of the month for purchases made before the 10th or for later purchases, by the 20th of the following month.
