FOLLOWING the recent promotion of Roger Phillips from sales director to managing director of Daf Trucks (GB), Ian Jones will be taking up the vacated position of sales director on November 5.
Mr Jones joins the Dutch heavy goods vehicle builder's UK subsidiary from Austin Rover. He has extensive experience of the heavy commercial vehicle industry in both the manufacturing and retailing sectors, having worked for Leyland Trucks, Volvo and Scania.
